                                         Internet addiction

When it comes to internet users, we have to devide them into different gruops, those who use internet as a tool at work, those who use it a a way to keep in touch with the world, those who use it, just to waste their time and those who have to use, I mean those addicted to internet.

Internet addiction has become an issue that is affecting all over the world, not only young people as it is claimed, but also adults. We need to take into consideration that internet addiction not only causes problems to the individual whi is addicted but also, to those who are around the addict. What do I mean?

First, a person who is addicted to the internet, instead of spending time with his/her family and friends they have to spend it using surfing the web, therefore a realitionship that has already been built can be destroyed. furthermore people addicted to internet can get into accidents because they are always pending in chatting or any other activity on the net, but not to what is happening around them, which means that they can get in troubles and make others in troubles as well. So even if it looks like a harmless issue, it is not, and it is better to get it resolved asap. According to the information we saw in our book, the best way to help with that issue is to try to make thet person addicted to understand his/her issue, eventhough they most of the time consider they have not problem whatsoeve. After the person is aware then the next step would be either try to have that person to present with  a professional.
