Unit 1
 The Internet and other Addictions. 

Nowadays people abuse of any addiction such as, Internet, drugs, alcohol and nicotine, also sex, shopping, cell phone use and finally gambling.

If you spend 6 or 8 hours daily using the internet you probably get sick of your brain, consuming other substance like the mentioned obove you suddenly die.



Unit 2   Honesty is the best Policy

Honesty is considered an important and necessary value.  Jesus Christ died for being Honest, some people have died for telling the truth.

Nowadays money and power can change human mind.  Some people always think Honesty is the best policy, those who think so, they have pure moral.



Unit 3.  The Bold and the Bashful.































Sentences.

I never break the ice in a meeting.

I feel phobia to climb trees.

My young son is extroverted.

Her daughter is a reticent girl.

Some people create misattributions about me.

I have a brother who is condescending.



Unit 4   The Tipping Point.

This unit tells us about advertisers to buy products, also the writer shows us  a popular childrens television show.  And an addict of Gladwell group, Sarah.

In the other hand, this unit emphasizes the fashion-Era where it mentions about the popular Hush Puppies Shoes.

Finally. I could say that this unit tells about advertisers -Era where we can find similar terms such as,  Word of mouth, Epidemic, and Transmission.

        Spiritual Renewal  In this case I would rather to talk about me and my spiritual life, I think that it will also be good for me because I  feel that I have to renew my spiritual life. I am a believer and I have gone far from my religious life lately, due to my job, university and others activities I know I should not pay that much attention to, but I do. I was grown in a religious family, even my parents and grant parents were part of the main team at church. Since I was a child I was taught about God and the creation of the world by Him, and I was totaly involved in a religious life. with the step of the time as I was growing I started to be part of the teams on church, I was part of the child group of the church in which one I later on became a leader, then I when I get to be a teenager I moved to the teenagers group in which one also I became a leader in my firts year, then the president of the group in the next year and als...

UNITE 4, THE TIPPING POINT

The tipping point in social protests in 2017 There have had many social protects in Dominican Republic Through the years, but social movements in Dominican Republic had their most important antecedents in the 1916th by peasants that fight against the North American Intervention. Another important labor movement was in the sugar industry in the 40th against the Trujillo Dictatorship, and many social movements more, that have generated a sign in the history. The social protest that I want to refer as a tipping point in 2017 in Dominican Republic is the one called La Marcha Verde. La Marcha Verde had its roots at the beginning of these year in Santo Dominto due to the Odebrecht case, a company that belongs to Brasil. The governors involved in this case are Hipolito Mejia, Leonel Fernandez and Danilo Medina. The protest was generated by a group of civil organizations that win thousand of people over the country.
