Unit 1, The internet and others addictions

In my opinion, internet addiction is a problem but not as serious as drugs or harmful substances addiction. I think it can be divided in two groups: Non serious addictions, as internet addiction, cell phone addiction, television addiction, compulsive shoppers etc.;  And serious addictions like drugs or harmful substances addiction.

To me people become internet addicted for many reasons, some of them could be: Much free time, family problems, compulsiveness, low self esteem and shyness.

The inability to control addiction behaviors could affect people in many ways, like the relation between their families or their friends, the relation with the society, or even more, it can cause anxiety attacks and depressions.

Some solutions I think could work are: Take time to share with people, read books, take some extra curricular courses, being member of certain groups, and balance the time with others activities.

UNIT 7, WORKPLACE PRIVACY

Unit 7: WorkPlace Privacy    As you may know in some  jobs you do not have privacy. Employers can usually search an employee's workspace, including their desk office or lockers. It does not sound far at all, but they can do that because they are the owners of everything you are using there. Some employees feel uncomfortable in their job areas because they are being monitoring, but the employer has the right to do it as long as the monitoring is not particulary invasive. Cmeras in bathrooms or in dressing areas are usually not allowed. In conslusion, even if welike it or not employers have the right to monitoring our activities, register the computer we are using, the emal and even the desk because those are their belonges.

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty  refers to a facet of moral character and connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, including straightforwardness of conduct, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. to being honest i one the best things in a person is life. I like to be honest all the time because when you are honest you are a better person. and people who are not honest always have problems.
